SpaRitual, offering vegan nail lacquers and nail care essentials formulated without DBP, toluene, formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin, released it’s new Fall 2014 nail polish collection with six new shades.
Entitled the Wander Collection, the shades feature a “sandy matte shimmer” finish; however, can also be worn with a top coat to reveal a shiny finish, as seen in these swatches on the Vampy Varnish beauty blog, featuring Arroyo, a light pink with gold shimmer; Nomad, a khaki green with gold and pink shimmer; and Starry Night, a chocolate brown with gold and copper shimmer.
Zoya Nail Polish is introducing its summer 2013 line of PixieDust nail polish – ready to ship starting April 15, according to the company’s Web site. We love Zoya because its vegan friendly, and free of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor and dibutyl phthalate.
The company introduced it’s PixieDust line of textured nail polish as a special edition a few months ago, and is now debuting a summer offering, which features bright and bold colors, including Stevie, a bright purple; Destiny, a red orange; Beatrix, a bright orange; Liberty, a bright sea blue; Miranda, a dark pink; and Solange, a bright golden yellow.
Available as single purchases in the full-size bottles, they are also available as a set of six with smaller bottles.
Known for its eco-friendly nail polish, Priti NYC released new soy polish removers with scents, including lavender, lemongrass and white blossom, as well as an unscented version. They are 100-percent natural, non-toxic, 100-percent biodegradable and non-carcinogenic.
The soy-based formula is derived from farm crops, and is free of petroleum and acetone. The scents are created with soybean esters and essential oils, and unlike some nail polish removers that dry out the nail, the natural oils moisturize hands and nails.
Packaged in recyclable, 4-ounce bottles, they sell for $22.50 at select spas, and online at www.pritinyc.com.
